Hazard Statements
Dust may be irritating to eyes and lungs. May cause risk of lung disease if inhaled. Vermiculite formulations may contain 1-10% quartz which, in finely divided form, is a known human carcinogen. Avoid creating or inhaling dust.
Precautionary Statements
Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Wear splash goggles, gloves, and apron. Use adequate ventilation and wear appropriate respirator. Air-supplied respirator when handling this material in emergency situations (spill or fire).
